Celebrating 30 Years on the Road
Autobahn was established on 2nd May 1995.
Our journey began with the sale of pre-owned vehicles on a commission basis for clients. On the first weekend of each month, we hosted open days, gathering and displaying as many client vehicles as possible.

These events quickly gained popularity, attracting considerable interest from car enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.

2000
We launched our own website — a pioneering step at a time when technology was still emerging in the Maltese market.
2001
The company expanded into the importation of Japanese vehicles, providing the market with high-quality cars at competitive prices. By 2003, Autobahn became an official member of the Used Vehicle Importers’ Association (UVIA).

2006
We became a Tied Insurance Intermediary for Atlas Insurance. The demand grew organically through our client base. Today, not only has our insurance portfolio expanded, but we are also entrusted with serving some of Malta’s largest companies.
2008
We diversified further by sourcing vehicles from some of the United Kingdom’s largest auctions, significantly enhancing our inventory with a wide selection of executive vehicles.
2012
We became sub-agents for brand-new vehicles from several leading manufacturers, offering clients an additional purchasing option. The positive feedback was overwhelming, prompting us to start ordering our own stock of new vehicles. This allowed clients to purchase their new car without enduring the usual long waiting periods.

2013
we broadened our services by introducing vehicle leasing, with a particular focus on executive models. This move marked another important milestone. Over the years, leasing has grown increasingly popular, and our client base has expanded steadily. We are proud to say that many of the clients who chose our leasing service in its early days remain loyal customers today.

2018
We began importing pre-owned electric vehicles, once again pioneering in the Maltese market where electric mobility was still a new concept. As awareness around environmental issues and the benefits of electric vehicles grew, so too did demand.
2020
Always committed to adapting to market trends, we became sub-agents for several makes of brand-new electric vehicles, offering clients the opportunity to purchase directly from our in-house stock.
Throughout the years, we have developed extensive market knowledge — but more importantly, deep insight into the needs and expectations of our clients. Prioritizing these needs has been a key driver behind Autobahn’s growth and the evolution of the services we offer.
Although our family run business has grown and diversified over the years, one thing has remained constant: the high standard of service we provide and the value we place on our clients.
